VYR. ACCOUNTANT

Nature of work:

  • Preparation and submission of financial reports (quarterly and annual) to state institutions and communication with supervisory authorities;
  • Ensuring accounting processes: accounting of long-term and short-term assets, payroll;
  • Preparation and submission of tax returns;
  • Execution and control of the payment process, in cooperation with other responsible departments;
  • Assistance to the finance manager in the budgeting and cash flow planning process, data collection and analysis;
  • Cooperation with external auditors during audit processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the position of chief accountant, of which at least 2 years are working in a financial institution;
  • Ability to maintain full accounting, including payroll;
  • Good knowledge of the reporting requirements of the Bank of Lithuania and motivation to deepen this knowledge;
  • Good knowledge of the specifics of VAT and the ability to apply them in practice;
  • Experience in audit processes (working with auditors, conducting audits, preparing documents, supporting external and internal audits);
  • Good understanding of the processes of protecting client funds and their reconciliation;
  • Very good knowledge of English (from level B2) and good knowledge of Russian (from level B1) or good knowledge of English (from level B1) and very good knowledge of Russian (from level B2);
  • Initiative, orientation towards process improvement;
  • Diligence and attentiveness;
  • Higher education is an advantage;
  • Experience working with EMI regulation would be considered an advantage.
