Nature of work
- Full organization of accounting from primary documents to financial reporting;
- Preparation and submission of tax, financial and statistical reports and declarations to state institutions and management;
- Analysis, development and efficiency of accounting processes;
- Organization and control of payroll accounting;
- Control of accounting for import and export operations when working with the EU and third-country markets;
- Administration and control of banking operations;
- Control and supervision of warehouse and inventory accounting;
- Cooperation with auditors, state institutions and other partners;
- Coordination of the activities of subordinate employees (1 accountant).
- Other tasks related to the finance and accounting function.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of senior accountant work experience;
- Higher education in finance, accounting, economics or a similar field;
- Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia regulating financial and tax accounting;
- Experience working with import/export accounting would be an advantage;
- Experience in a manufacturing company is a great advantage;
- Good skills in working with MS Office, especially Excel;
- Experience working with the Agnum program is an advantage;
- Analytical thinking, responsibility, diligence and the ability to independently plan work;
- Initiative and orientation towards process improvement.
