Nature of work
- Organize accounting work, distribute tasks and control the accuracy of accounting records and documents.
- Timely record income and expenses, check balances, assign expenses to the appropriate period and present the monthly result.
- Correctly calculate taxes, prepare declarations and ensure their submission and payment within the established deadlines.
- Ensure correct accounting of salaries, vacation pay, daily allowances, business trips and other benefits.
- Control debt accounting, reconcile balances, inform about overdue payments and discrepancies.
- Check the basis, amounts and details of payments; ensure control.
- Manage accounting for tractors, trailers, depreciation, leasing, loans and interest.
- Prepare annual financial statements and agreed reports for the manager and the group of companies.
- Prepare documents, explain accounting data, and cooperate with auditors and institutions.
Employee requirements
What we expect from you:
We will consider experience in the transport sector, coordination of an accounting team, work in an international group of companies and knowledge of English or German as an advantage.
- Higher or higher education in accounting, finance or economics.
- At least 2 years of work experience in accounting and practical experience in independently closing the month and preparing financial statements.
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and tax requirements.
- Experience working with an accounting program and good Excel skills.
- Ability to organize work, meet deadlines and ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate clearly and cooperate with a team.
