MALE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH SPECIALIST

You will contribute to the creation of a green and safe energy ecosystem:

• Ensuring the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation of the Republic of Lithuania, the Company's and the Group's internal requirements and their consistent application in complex and high-risk activities;
• Coordinating the elimination of recurring non-compliances and strengthening control discipline;
• Conducting regular and extraordinary inspections of workplaces, contractor activities and high-risk work and assessing the effectiveness of control measures;
• Conducting advanced occupational risk assessments, applying international methodologies, and assessing safety-critical control measures;
• Participating in incident investigations, conducting root cause analysis, ensuring the quality of investigations and a culture of learning from incidents;
• Monitoring contractors' OH&S compliance, high-risk contractor operations and initiating the suspension of unsafe work when critical violations are identified;
• Verifying the effectiveness of the ISO 45001 system through audits, inspections and evaluation of the effectiveness of corrective actions;
• Consulting company employees on OH&S issues and communicating safety priorities;
• Contributing to the development of continuous improvement initiatives for OH&S processes.

• Higher education in safety, engineering or other related field;
• At least 8 years of OSH experience, preferably in the industrial, energy, manufacturing or construction sectors;
• Excellent knowledge of the OSH legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and their practical application in high-risk activities;
• Experience in applying international risk assessment methodologies (e.g. HIRA, TRA, ORA);
• Experience in conducting OSH inspections, audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis and assessment of the effectiveness of corrective actions;
• Experience in managing OSH compliance of contractors and control of high-risk work;
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, fire safety or occupational health monitoring processes.
• Valid certificate entitling to work as an occupational safety and health specialist in companies of all types of economic activity; fire safety certificate;
• Excellent communication skills, ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders, result orientation, initiative;
• Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills (B2 level).

An advantage would be:

• Experience in the energy or electricity production sector; energy worker certificate is a great advantage;
• ISO 45001 lead auditor certificate;
• NEBOSH or equivalent certificate;
• Civil protection certificate.

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 2,770 to EUR 4,150 (excluding taxes). The specific salary is offered based on work experience and competence. A variable salary may be paid in addition to the salary.
