Nature of work
- plan, coordinate and implement modern IT systems and automated software delivery processes (CI/CD);
- manage system development, testing and production environments, oversee software deployment, updates and configurations, apply containerization practices;
- ensure effective monitoring of IT systems, troubleshoot and analyze their causes, provide suggestions on how to prevent recurrence of failures;
- consult software developers and other employees on DevOps practices and automation solutions, and be a team mentor;
- assess the need for modern IT systems and DevOps tools, plan and initiate their purchases, prepare technical specifications and evaluate supplier proposals;
- prepare and update technical documentation and implement organizational standards.
Employee requirements
- higher education in information technology or similar field;
- work experience in the IT field, including DevOps or IT systems maintenance;
- experience in Windows or Linux system administration and database work (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and knowledge of computer networking basics;
- practical experience in process automation and ability to write scripts, e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.;
- experience in working with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) or configuration management (Ansible) tools and CI/CD processes;
- ability to develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform or n8n (advantage);
- good Lithuanian and English language skills;
- ability to independently plan work, implement goals, solve emerging challenges and take initiative in uncertain situations;
- ITIL Foundation and Microsoft Azure certifications (great advantage – AZ-400: Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert or other Associate / Expert level certifications).
