Our client is a company with more than ten years of experience (about 100 employees, about 6 million euros in turnover), specializing in the design, production and installation of structures made of wood, metal, glass and concrete. The majority of the company's exports are projects in Scandinavian countries, where projects are implemented in various public facilities - offices, shopping centers, hotels, cinemas or catering establishments, as well as private residential facilities.
Currently, the company is inviting a
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (-Ê) to a newly created position,
who is excellent at "diving" into the details of accounting, is able to lead a team of accountants and is able to answer three essential questions of the company's manager: how much do we earn, where do we lose money and what to expect in the near future.

Currently, the company is inviting a
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (-Ê) to a newly created position,
who is excellent at "diving" into the details of accounting, is able to lead a team of accountants and is able to answer three essential questions of the company's manager: how much do we earn, where do we lose money and what to expect in the near future.
Responsibilities of the Chief Financier:
Financial management and planning:
- to form and manage the company's annual budget, participate in its preparation and exercise budget control;
- prepare and constantly update financial forecasts (forecast), analyze deviations from actual and planned results;
- manage and forecast the company's cash-flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity and timely fulfillment of financial obligations;
- identify, assess and manage key financial risks;
- develop, implement and constantly improve financial and accounting processes and internal control systems;
- form financial analysis, reporting and control standards in the company;
- provide the company's director with financial insights and recommendations;
- participate in the assessment of strategic and investment decisions from a financial perspective.
Financial analysis of production and projects:
- analyze production costs, cost price and their structure;
- assess the cost price, margin and profitability of each project / order;
- analyze deviations from actual production results from plans and provide insights into their causes;
- assist management in making decisions regarding pricing, costs, investments and other business decisions;
- identify opportunities to improve the company's profitability and working capital management.
Accounting:
- ensure proper and timely accounting and financial accounting of the company;
- supervise accounting processes from primary documents to the preparation of financial statements (2 people in the team);
- ensure timely submission of tax returns and reports to the State Tax Inspectorate, Social Insurance Institution and other institutions;
- ensure proper fulfillment of tax obligations and compliance of accounting with applicable legal acts;
- prepare financial statements and financial information necessary for management;
- coordinate and ensure a smooth annual audit process, cooperate with auditors.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- has similar work experience in a manufacturing company;
- has practical experience in preparing financial statements, budgeting, financial forecasts and cash flow management;
- has an education in economics/finance/accounting;
- is able to analyze financial data, identify risks and propose specific solutions;
- has good MS Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems;
- is proactive - not only presenting numbers, but also suggesting what should be changed.
