SENIOR IT SYSTEMS ANALYST

In this position, you will be an important link between the business and IT teams, analyzing billing, payments, debt administration and customer settlement processes, functional requirements and ensuring their implementation. You will contribute to the creation of a safe and green energy ecosystem:

• Analyzing business needs, customer settlement, billing, payments and debt administration processes;
• Preparing and detailing functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Analyzing and describing system functionalities, data flows and integration relationships;
• Modeling business processes using UML, BPMN or other analysis tools to visually convey the operation of the system;
• Breaking down large business needs (Epics) into smaller technical tasks and preparing easily understandable and regularly updated documentation;
• Collaborating with the product owner, business experts, solution architects, programmers, analysts and testers to ensure smooth implementation of solutions;
• Preparing test scenarios, participating in solution testing and ensuring compliance with requirements;
• Analyzing the operation of existing systems and identifying business rules required for development;
• Contributing to development, creating sustainable and business-oriented solutions.

• Higher university degree in IT, computer science, mathematics, economics or another related field;
• At least 3 years of work experience as a systems analyst or similar position;
• Experience in analyzing and documenting business needs, processes and functional requirements;
• Experience in creating and breaking down User Stories into smaller tasks and the ability to develop clear Acceptance Criteria;
• Good SQL skills and knowledge of database architecture;
• Knowledge of UML and BPMN and practical application skills;
• Excellent collaboration skills when working with business experts, product owners, programmers, analysts, testers and solution architects;
• Critical thinking, business value orientation, responsibility for work results and the ability to work independently and in a team;
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

An advantage would be:

• Experience working with billing, payment administration, debt management, invoicing or other financial processes and systems;
• Experience in analyzing and documenting the operation of existing information systems and transforming business processes into new solutions;
• Experience working in an Agile environment and knowledge of Agile principles;
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence tools for managing requirements, user stories and documentation;
• Knowledge of energy sector processes;
• Certifications, e.g. UML, BCS, ECBA, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist or similar.

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 3,190 to EUR 4,770 (excluding taxes). The specific salary is offered taking into account work experience and competence. A variable remuneration component may be paid in addition to the salary.
