The chief warehouseman is responsible for organizing and coordinating the activities of warehouse employees, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks and compliance with quality standards.
Nature of work:
- Organize and ensure smooth daily warehouse operations;
- Plan employee schedules, distribute work and monitor results;
- Lead a team of employees;
- Ensure warehouse order, safety and compliance with quality standards;
- Work with warehouse management systems;
- Participate in inventories and ensure data accuracy;
- Work closely with production, sales and purchasing teams;
- Identify and resolve problems;
Requirements:
- Similar or equivalent experience in warehouse or logistics (required);
- Responsibility, result-oriented;
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Experience working with warehouse systems;
- Experience driving a forklift;
- Team motivation skills;
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards.
