ABOUT THE POSITION
Cgates is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to design, manage and continuously improve the organization's core infrastructure and platforms, ensuring their high stability, security and sustainable operation.
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting standardized, automated and platform-oriented IT services that contribute to business growth, reliability and efficient, resilient organization operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, maintain and continuously improve the core infrastructure: servers, virtualization, storage and backup solutions.
- Ensure high availability, resilience and recoverability of critical services.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, network, security and customer service teams, ensuring stable and secure operation of IT services.
- Implementation of technical requirements of the TIS2 directive.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of practical experience in Linux environment administration.
- Automation experience: Ansible, shell, python, REST API, etc
- IAC and version control (git) experience.
- Network development and maintenance: firewalls, TCP/IP(v4/v6), static routing, vlan, etc
- System security enhancement, vulnerability management.
- Experience working with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox.
- Practical knowledge of data storage (NAS, SAN) and backup solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication, Proxmox backup).
- Experience in an operational environment: incident management, fault diagnostics, working with a production environment.
ADVANTAGES:
- Experience working with OCI containers (Open Container Initiative);
- Knowledge and practical work experience with Gitlab CI;
- Familiarity or work experience with Agentic AI solutions;
- Knowledge of working with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience with public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience in the position of a cybersecurity expert.
- Organization and communication skills.
- Experience in implementing TIS2 technical provisions.
- Professional, international and information security certificates.
