Position description
The position of Chief Nurse is required to coordinate the activities of the Medical Services Department, ensuring high-quality staff work and the quality of services provided. The Chief Nurse must be guided by the Lithuanian Medical Standard MN 28:2025 "General Practice Nurse" approved by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, which establishes the rights, duties and competencies of a general practice nurse.
You will be responsible for:
Effective organization of the department's activities, analysis and improvement of work quality, ensuring the implementation of assigned tasks and functions.
Drawing up department personnel work schedules, annual leave schedules, filling out work time sheets.
Planning the need for new employees, searching for them in cooperation with the personnel department, adapting new employees.
Implementation, updating, and control of the hospitality standard.
Rationally using available human and material resources in order to provide high-quality and effective healthcare focused on the needs of guests.
Ensuring that specialists providing licensed services have valid licenses.
Ordering, receiving, storing, issuing and accounting for medications, medical products, equipment, and other necessary tools.
Taking laboratory tests of pool water. Evaluating the results obtained by registering them in the forms established by legal acts.
Ensuring the sanitary and hygienic condition of the department, in compliance with all hygiene standards.
Compliance with infection control requirements in the institution, monitoring the epidemiological situation.
Providing high-quality and professional rehabilitation services.
Filling out medical documents in accordance with the procedure established by legal acts, managing archival documents.
Working with the institution's internal systems, E. Health, SVEIDRA and ESPBI information systems.
Providing necessary documentation to state institutions, participating in inspections.
You will be responsible for:

Requirements for the candidate
Higher university medical education.
Professional qualification of a general practice nurse acquired in accordance with the procedure established by law.
Valid general nursing practice license.
Have a seal, the number of which is assigned in accordance with the procedure established by the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania of January 6, 2003 No. V-1 “On Approval of the Rules for Granting and Cancellation of a Specialist Seal Number”.
At least 2 years of managerial work experience.
Knowledge of the specifics of the medical services provided by the institution.
Knowledge of the principles of operation of the e-health, information system SVEIDRA and ESPBI.
Excellent computer skills (MS Office).
Knowledge of the basics of document preparation, management and accounting, and the basics of medical statistics.
Ability to communicate in Russian or English.
Ability to plan and organize one's own and others' work.
Ability to manage, accumulate, systematize, summarize information, draw conclusions.
Diligence, responsibility, initiative in improving work processes.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Ability to react quickly in stressful situations.
