Nature of work

  • Provide methodological assistance and professional consultations to social workers and service coordinators.
  • Analyze complex situations that arise when working with service recipients, their relatives or employees, and suggest effective solutions.
  • Participate in resolving conflict or non-standard situations and help employees make the most appropriate decisions.
  • Prepare, update and improve the company's internal procedures, methodologies, job descriptions and other internal documents that ensure the smooth organization and quality of social services.
  • Provide proposals for improving the quality of social services and improving work processes.
  • Analyze service provision practices, identify areas for improvement and initiate their improvement.
  • Contribute to strengthening the professional competence of social workers, consult on complex professional issues.
  • Ensure that social services are provided in accordance with the requirements of legal acts, professional ethics and internal company documents.

Requirements

  • Higher university or college education in social work.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in providing or organizing home help and (or) day social care services at a person's home is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating the field of social services.
  • Ability to analyze situations, make reasoned decisions and consult employees.
  • Ability to prepare internal procedures, methodological recommendations and other documents regulating activities.
  • Responsibility, initiative, analytical thinking and excellent communication skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Category B driver's license - mandatory.
  • Experience in implementing the EQUASS quality system or applying the requirements of this standard in practice is a great advantage.
