Nature of work:
- Consulting the company's management on complex legal issues, contributing to the adoption and implementation of strategic business decisions;
- Analysis/management of legal risks related to the company's main activities, infrastructure development, territorial planning, public procurement, preparation of legal conclusions, proposals, ensuring compliance of the company's activities with legal regulations;
- Representation of the company in courts, preparation of procedural documents, claims, requests, letters and other documents related to disputes.
- Representation of the company in the highest level negotiations, in state and municipal institutions and in relations with regulatory institutions (e.g., VERT);
- Preparation, coordination, assessment of contracts, internal documents and other legal documents related to the company's activities;
- Legal supervision of compliance and implementation of specific regulatory requirements (in the water management sector);
- Management of legal projects (e.g. infrastructure development, investments), identification and management of risks, optimization, improvement of the Company's legal function and implementation of "best practices" within the Company.
We hope you:
- You have a higher university legal education (Master of Laws or equivalent degree);
- You have acquired at least 4 years of legal work experience;
- You are familiar with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and other regulatory legal acts (including the legal regulation of water management, the Law on Construction of the Republic of Lithuania and the Technical Regulation on Construction, the Law on the Development of Municipal Infrastructure of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Public Procurement of the Republic of Lithuania, the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data, etc.) and are able to properly interpret and apply them in practice;
- You have excellent skills in drafting procedural documents and legal argumentation, the desire and initiative to solve various legal problems;
- You have practical experience in the field of public procurement (an advantage);
- You are able to independently and professionally represent yourself in complex situations and negotiations;
- You are able to think strategically, see the business context and strive to be a reliable partner in the context of the Company's activities.
