Nature of work
The head chef is responsible for organizing production processes, adhering to company standards, hygiene, and cleanliness standards. Product planning, ordering, control, effective use, and inventory. The head chef not only actively participates in the production process, but also supervises the entire kitchen team, distributes work, trains new employees, helps existing employees improve, and replaces employees if necessary. Ensures that all products and dishes are prepared according to established recipes and meet quality standards, so that there is no shortage of products, and that sales shelves are always full of high-quality prepared and ethically served products. This position requires leadership, standards, quality, and the ability to respond promptly to challenges.
We hope you have:
- Experience in organizing and planning the food production process for chain cafes or stores.
- Experience in creating new dishes, drawing up technological cards.
- Experience in planning raw materials, inventory management, cost optimization, order fulfillment.
- Ability to combine leadership with demandingness - ensuring high standards, while inspiring the team to common goals.
- Excellent team management, setting priorities.
Necessary:
- Ensure compliance with standards and quality in the production process.
- Ensure safety, hygiene, cleanliness in the departments, active daily monitoring of expiration, product quality in the departments.
- Form, develop, motivate the team.
- If necessary, select new team members.
We hope that TU:
- Understands the specifics of food production and is willing to delve into new systems and processes.
- Strong organizational and work planning skills (shift planning, order management, cost control).
- Good computer literacy skills (warehouse/cash register systems - an advantage).
- Speaks English at B1 level or higher.
- You are communicative and able to represent the company in meetings and when collaborating with customers.
