ISS Lietuva catering services team is expanding and is looking for a Head Chef who will take care of the daily lunch restaurant activities and ensure smooth work in the kitchen.
Job description:
Independently plan and prepare dishes according to the approved menu, in accordance with technological requirements;
Prepare event estimates according to client needs;
Respond immediately to client complaints about the quality of service, take the initiative to resolve them and/or transfer the issue to the direct manager;
Plan, order products necessary for food production, control their use;
Ensure that products are used in production in accordance with the FIFO principle (first in, first out) - older products are used first;
Follow the instructions of the catering department manager and his deputy in the processes of food production, ordering goods, residue control, food safety and hygiene, employee health and safety, fire safety;
Represent the company in meetings with client representatives and present weekly, monthly or other period results;
Actively propose new sales solutions and improve the quality of service;
Requirements:
Secondary education with a chef's profession or existing chef's qualification;
At least 5 years of experience in the field of food production;
Management and administrative experience;
English language skills - B1 level required;
Experience using Syrve and Vikarina programs (advantage).
