SENIOR ELECTRICITY TRADING ANALYST

We are currently looking for a new team member in the Trading Execution Department. In this position, you will be responsible for forecasts, trading electricity in the wholesale market, as well as developing and improving business tools, improving and systematizing trading processes, and looking for ways to increase the efficiency and results of the team's activities. You will contribute to the creation of a safe and green energy ecosystem:

• Forecasting electricity consumption and production;
• Trading electricity in the Day-ahead market;
• Preparing electricity trading reports and reporting tools;
• Assisting the electricity trading team in performing various data collection and transformation tasks;
• Contributing to the balancing margin determination process and the development of its calculation algorithms;
• Participating in electricity trading activity improvement projects;
• Once a month working weekend trading sessions.

• Higher university education (an advantage is education in econometrics, statistics, data science, computer science or other related field);
• Practical experience working with Python, SQL, Git, VBA and the ability to prepare reports using Power BI;
• Initiative, responsibility and attention to detail;
• Willingness to improve programming skills and deepen knowledge of the energy market;
• Excellent English and Lithuanian language skills (verbal and written).

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 3,430 to EUR 5,150 (excluding taxes). The specific salary offered is based on work experience and competence. A variable remuneration component may be paid in addition to the salary.
