SENIOR NETWORK DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY ENGINEER

We are currently looking for a new team member in the Network Strategy Department. In this position, you will contribute to the reliability of distribution networks, development strategy development, setting quality indicators, legal acts, and methodologies. You will contribute to the creation of a safe and green energy ecosystem:

• Preparing long-term parts of the distribution network reliability, resilience, development, strategy;
• Calculating "SAIDI", "SAIFI" and other network quality indicators;
• Preparing cabling, automation, digitalization and other network transformation measures;
• Preparing amendments to legal acts, methodologies and other regulatory documents related to network reliability and resilience;
• Preparing long-term forecasts of connection capacities, loads and generation development;
• Analyzing international practice and providing proposals for the implementation of advanced technologies;
• Participating in pilot projects related to network flexibility, energy storage and other innovations;
• Assessing the impact of climate change, extreme weather events, other risks on the electricity network and providing proposals for legal acts or technological changes;
• Representing the Company in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, "VERT", "Litgrid", associations and other energy market participants.

• Higher education (energy, technology, economics or exact sciences);
• At least 3 years of work experience in the energy sector (in the areas of network planning, reliability, network operation, regulation or strategic planning);
• Knowledge of the energy sector activities, development of electricity networks;
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment and legislative processes;
• Analytical skills (ability to systematize, analyze information, isolate its essence, provide conclusions and recommendations, assessing the broader context of the situation);
• Ability to work independently and in a team;
• Good Lithuanian and English language skills.

An advantage would be:

• Experience with network reliability, resilience, cabling, automation or digitalization topics;
• Experience with the principles of regulated activities or cooperation with institutions;
• Ability to work with Power BI, GIS, Jira or similar data analysis / planning tools.

The fixed salary range for the position group is from 2,770 to 4,150 EUR (excluding taxes). The specific salary is offered taking into account work experience and competence. A variable remuneration component may be paid in addition to the salary.
