Nature of work
- Accounting for bank statements and transactions, preparation and administration of payments;
- Accounting for service purchase invoices, checking their accuracy and assigning costs to the appropriate general ledger accounts;
- Accounting and control of advance payments and business trip expenses, checking submitted documents, assigning costs according to accounting requirements, administering settlements with employees;
- Active participation in the processes of closing periods (months, quarters, years) and preparing a group reporting package;
- Preparation and submission of required reports to the company and group management;
- Preparation and submission of tax and statistical reports;
- Participation in the company's audit process, providing information to auditors;
- Assisting the chief accountant in organizing the work of the accounting department;
- Participation in the company's project activities both locally and internationally.
Work location - Kareivonys, Elektrėnai municipality.
Expectations for candidates
- Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or completed specialized accounting courses;
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in a large company or group of companies (knowledge of the activities of manufacturing, transport, trade companies is an advantage);
- Excellent working skills with MS Excel and the ability to analyze, understand and correctly interpret accounting data. Ability to notice discrepancies, errors and clarify them in a timely manner;
- Independence, diligence, responsibility, attention to detail;
- Initiative, desire to improve accounting processes;
- Ability to smoothly cooperate with customers/suppliers, colleagues and other company departments;
- Good knowledge of English at level no lower than B2 (verbal and written communication will be required).
