SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial accounting records in accordance with the company's internal rules and applicable standards;
- Perform monthly and annual closing procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data;
- Prepare tax returns and statistical reports and submit them to the relevant authorities;
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies;
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and assist in preparing the documentation required by auditors during interim and annual audits;
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to help make decisions;
- Assist the Chief Accountant in daily accounting operations and contribute to process improvement;
- Supervise and control accounting records;
- Help train and advise colleagues on accounting issues.
WE INVITE YOU TO APPLY IF YOU HAVE:
- University degree in accounting, finance or related field;
- At least 3-5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in a medium to large company;
- Experience in the airline or aviation sector would be an advantage;
- Good knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles;
- Experience in preparing tax reports;
- Strong analytical skills, diligence and a high level of accuracy;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines;
- Good skills in working with MS Excel;
- Good written and oral English skills;
- Good communication and collaboration skills;
- A professional certificate, such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent, would be an advantage;
- Experience working with the accounting system Dynamics 365 Business Central would be an advantage.
