Nature of work

  • Assembly and installation works:
  • Cable laying: Laying of low-voltage cables (UTP/FTP, optical (fiber optic), fire alarm) in cable routes, flexible pipes, channels and above suspended ceilings.
  • Route preparation: Installation of cable trays, ladders, PVC channels and protective pipes inside and outside buildings.
  • Equipment installation: Mounting and connecting security and fire alarm sensors, video surveillance cameras (IP and analog), access control systems (readers, electromagnetic locks) and intercoms. (equipment installation experience/skills are a big advantage)
  • Communication cabinet assembly: Mounting of server cabinets (racks), mounting of patch panels and cable routing.
  • Connection and testing:
  • Cable crossing: Crimping UTP/FTP cables (RJ45), installing sockets and welding optical fibers (if required).
  • Troubleshooting and testing: Testing installed lines with special testers (Fluke, etc.), searching for and eliminating errors, short circuits or breaks.
  • Documentation and maintenance:
  • Working according to drawings: Reading technical projects, diagrams and building plans and following them precisely when performing work.
  • Compliance with safety requirements: Compliance with safe work rules (especially when working at height or with power tools) and fire safety requirements.

Employee requirements

  • Work experience in communication cable installation, construction or similar fields;
  • Technical or engineering education; (a big advantage).
  • Understanding of cable systems, their types and installation methods;
  • Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams;
  • Skills in working with measuring instruments and installation tools;
  • Responsibility, attention to detail and punctuality;
  • Ability to work in a team and independently;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Category B driver's license.
