UAB "Termoizola" is a specialized construction company operating not only in Lithuania, but also in foreign countries. We are looking for an independent, responsible and analytical Senior Accountant who would be able to ensure the management of assigned accounting areas and the high-quality implementation of accounting processes.
The company's activities are international - we have permanent establishments (PE) in some foreign countries, therefore some accounting operations are related to foreign purchase and sale documents and the specifics of accounting and VAT in different countries.

Your main responsibilities:
- Independently manage and control assigned accounting areas in accordance with applicable laws and the company's accounting policy;
- Register and verify purchase, sale, bank and other business transactions;
- Control debts of buyers and suppliers, perform balance and mutual settlement reconciliations;
- Manage accounting for advances, fixed assets and inventories;
- Check VAT accounting, account data and prepare data for tax returns;
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, balances and turnovers;
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing processes;
- Prepare accounting, statistical reports and necessary analyses;
- Analyze accounting discrepancies, identify errors and initiate their correction;
- Cooperate with auditors, the State Tax Inspectorate and other institutions within their competence;
- Provide suggestions on how to streamline and improve accounting processes;
- Work with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting system.
What do we expect from you?
- Higher or higher education in accounting, finance or a related field;
- At least 3 years of practical work experience in the field of accounting;
- Good knowledge of accounting, VAT and basic taxes;
- Ability to independently perform more complex accounting operations and solve non-standard situations;
- Good skills in managing MS Excel and accounting programs;
- Diligence, responsibility, analytical thinking and attention to detail;
- Ability to independently plan work and meet deadlines;
- Knowledge of English - an advantage, especially when working with foreign documents;
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central - a great advantage;
- Experience in the construction sector or in an international company - an advantage.
