We are currently recruiting a Senior Transport Claims Assessor in Vilnius.

What will your work day look like?

  • Assessment of transport damages, determination of the amount of loss, decision-making on payment/non-payment of insurance compensation;
  • Calculation and reconciliation of the amount of damage and insurance compensation, review and reconciliation of actual repair estimates in accordance with insurance rules, methodological instructions of the rules, legal acts, work instructions, procedures, orders, ordinances and other regulatory acts;
  • Administration of claims cases assigned to the department's competence, customer service;
  • Timely consideration of customer proposals, requests, complaints, preparation of responses;
  • Analysis of the circumstances and causes of incidents (if necessary - informing other specialists);
  • If necessary, inspection of damaged transport objects, drawing up acts of destruction/damage after the incident;
  • Timely informing customers and other injured parties about the progress of the claim administration and decisions made;
  • Maintaining contact with car repair shops, car dumps, auto parts stores, etc. services to clarify the scope of repairs, clarify information about the applied repair technology or methods, the circumstances of the incident and other issues related to the incident;
  • Providing assistance and consultations to Claims Departments and employees of other Company departments on claims assessment and settlement issues;
  • Representing the Company in courts regarding the amount of insurance benefits or incident investigation, within the scope of the assessor's competence;
  • Performing other tasks within the scope of the department's competence.

  • University technical or engineering education;
  • Knowledge of transport insurance products;
  • At least 1 year of work experience in the field of damage assessment, or 3 years of work experience in the field of vehicle repair;
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair technologies;
  • Good computer skills (Audatex program an advantage);
  • Knowledge of English;
  • Driver's license (category B);
  • Knowledge of property valuation.

Salary: from 2650 - 3200 Eur (before taxes) depending on the employee's competencies and experience.
