We need

We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor for our client - a large strategic company operating in the energy sector.

Nature of work:

  • Develop and improve internal audit methodology and ensure its consistent application in the organization
  • Participate in planning and implementing internal audit plans
  • Independently perform internal audits, provide insights and recommendations for improving business processes
  • Oversee the operation of the internal audit quality assurance and improvement program
  • Coordinate preparation for internal and external internal audit assessments
  • Analyze the comments of supervisory authorities and external auditors and ensure monitoring of their implementation
  • Contribute to increasing the maturity, efficiency and innovation of the internal audit function
  • Prepare methodological materials and presentations for management and the audit committee

We hope you:

  • You have a higher university education in the fields of economics, business, management, accounting, or law
  • You have professional experience in the fields of internal audit, risk management, or internal control
  • You have an internal auditor qualification or certificate
  • You are distinguished by analytical thinking, are able to comprehensively assess situations and independently plan work, effectively managing time and responsibilities
  • You are able to express an independent opinion constructively and with arguments, have excellent communication and information presentation skills, and communicate fluently in English (at least B2 level)
  • You are proactive and motivated to contribute to the improvement of the organization's activities

It would be additionally useful if you had:

  • Experience working in a large energy or other regulated company and knowledge of project and process management methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP or similar)
  • International professional experience and international internal auditor certification (CIA)

The company offers:

  • A gross monthly salary of 3800-4200 EUR, with an annual bonus of up to two times the salary (depending on results)
