We invite you to join our team and offer you a challenge
- Inform and consult asylum seekers and asylum seekers in different places of detention and accommodation, as well as provide information by e-mail;
- Prepare legal documents on asylum, detention, temporary protection or other migration issues;
- Coordinate the preparation of strategic cases and their implementation;
- Represent at international events, exchange relevant information with partners and stakeholders in Lithuania and abroad;
- Contribute to advocacy processes in order to draw the attention of responsible institutions to the necessary changes and prevailing practices.
We need you, if you will
- You have a higher legal education (Master of Laws qualification) and at least 3 years of legal work experience (an advantage is in the field of human rights, migration or asylum);
- You are familiar with Lithuanian and EU legislation regulating asylum, migration, human rights;
- You speak English at B2 level (knowledge of Russian, French or other languages is an advantage);
- You have a driver's license and enjoy driving;
- You are interested in human rights and asylum law, you are concerned about the processes taking place around you, related to the geopolitical situation in the region and migration trends;
- You are able to communicate sensitively with people from different cultures;
- You are able to work independently and in a team, you are proactive;
- You want to contribute to the implementation of the Red Cross mission in Lithuania.
