Senior Accountant (for a manufacturing company in the USA)

What responsibilities will we entrust to:

  • organize the full accounting process of the group of companies (3 companies, 2 of which operate in the USA) in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
  • ensure timely month-end closing in accordance with the procedures and deadlines applied in the group;
  • prepare interim and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS (separate and consolidated);
  • ensure smooth coordination of audit processes and cooperation with auditors;
  • calculate and declare taxes (if necessary, in cooperation with accounting group and US specialists);
  • standardize and streamline accounting processes, implement good practices;
  • advise managers and colleagues on accounting and tax issues;
  • lead a team of accountants - organize work, ensure high-quality implementation of functions, develop team members and provide them with professional assistance.

We believe that you:

  • you have accumulated several years of experience as a chief or senior accountant in managing corporate accounting;
  • you have experience in managing the full accounting of several companies and preparing financial statements;
  • you are familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and have practical experience in their application;
  • you have experience in consolidating financial data of group companies;
  • you are proficient in MS Excel (advanced user level);
  • you have experience working with business management/accounting systems;
  • you can communicate in English, both orally and in writing;
  • you are characterized by attention to detail and high quality standards;
  • you are able to prioritize tasks, communicate clearly and cooperate constructively with different teams and managers.

Salary

A specific salary is offered, taking into account work experience and competence.
