What will you do?
TSC Service Center in Vilnius is part of the largest network of authorized service centers in the region, operating in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Every year, TSC Service Center services hundreds of thousands of devices. Currently, 12 employees work at TSC Service Center in Vilnius.
Your main goal will be to ensure the effective implementation of financial accounting functions of LMT Retail & Logistics (hereinafter referred to as LMT R&L) Lithuanian branch in accordance with LMT Retail & Logistics guidelines, legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania, International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) approved by the European Union.
You will ensure and control the accounting and financial data registration of LMT R&L Lithuanian branch in accordance with Lithuanian legislation and the accounting principles of the group of companies
You will prepare and submit tax and statistical reports in a timely manner
You will calculate and check the salary of the Lithuanian branch employees, administer absenteeism and resolve other salary-related issues
You will consult the employees of LMT R&L Lithuanian branch, LMT R&L accounting and personnel departments on accounting, payroll tax issues and inform about changes in tax legislation
You will provide proposals and participate in optimizing, digitizing and automating daily work processes of LMT R&L Lithuanian branch
You will assess the relevance of accounting documentation and ensure the implementation of necessary changes.
You will cooperate with other LMT R&L and LMT divisions, Lithuanian branch partners, state institutions and auditors
You will organize the annual closing process of LMT R&L Lithuanian branch (including inventory), supervise and control inventory and cost accounting
You will coordinate the maintenance and improvement of the Directo ERP system

What we expect from you
Higher education in accounting, finance or economics
At least 4 years of continuous work experience as a chief accountant
Experience in payroll accounting, inventory accounting and annual financial reporting
Experience with Directo ERP system would be an advantage
Knowledge of international accounting standards, good skills in applying Lithuanian and European Union legislation and IFRS requirements
Good knowledge of English
