Chief Accountant

You will join a stable, mixed-farming agricultural group of companies, where accounting is centrally organized and the finance function is important for daily business decisions. This is a position for someone who wants to not only ensure accounting accuracy, but also contribute to financial analytics, budgets, cash flows, cost control and process improvement.

• education in finance, accounting, economics or similar field;
• at least 3 years of full-time accounting experience;
• experience in preparing or reviewing financial statements, balance sheets and declarations;
• practical knowledge of tax, financial accounting and business accounting standards;
• ability to work with financial data, budgets, forecasts and analytics;
• good skills in working with Microsoft Office 365;
• analytical and critical thinking, responsibility, accuracy and independence;
• ability to organize work, control deadlines, raise questions and see processes more broadly.

We will consider the following as advantages:

• experience in organizing or coordinating team work;
• experience in working with banks, financing issues;
• experience with Power BI or other analytical tools.

• orderly and systematic accounting environment and clear transfer of work;
• work with an already formed accounting team of 3 people;
• the opportunity to review existing accounting processes, initiate improvements and strengthen the quality of financial information;
• a broader scope of the finance function – from accounting control to analytics, budgets and cash flow planning;
• direct cooperation with the company's manager;
• hybrid work model – 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely by agreement;
• reimbursement of fuel / travel expenses if traveling from another city;
• 3000–4000 EUR net salary range, depending on experience and competencies.
