Nature of work
- participate in the preparation of a strategic business plan and financial management strategy;
- prepare estimates of state budget funds programs, income and expenses of departments and other estimates relevant to the activities of the College;
- analyze the financial and performance indicators of the College and its departments, assess budget execution, identify activity trends and make proposals for increasing operational efficiency;
- prepare short-term and long-term forecasts of income, expenses, cash flows and investments;
- perform financial modeling, scenario and sensitivity analysis, assessing the impact of various economic factors on the financial results of the College;
- assess the financial and economic feasibility of investment projects, infrastructure development initiatives and other decisions;
- analyze the financial efficiency and costs of activities, study programs, projects and structural units;
- develop and improve financial analysis models, KPI monitoring methodologies and data analytics solutions;
- prepare financial insights, analytical reports and recommendations for the College Director, Council, Academic Council and other management bodies;
- carry out benchmarking analysis of the College's financial and performance indicators on a national and international scale;
- collect, systematize and analyze financial and performance data, prepare information for the department's performance, internal and external financial reports;
- prepare reports related to the financial management of the College and departments, and, if necessary, present them during meetings.
Requirements for candidate (s)
- higher education in finance or economics;
- knowledge of the principles and methods of financial planning, budgeting, economic analysis and performance evaluation;
- ability to apply financial modeling, financial forecasting, scenario analysis and other analytical methods when preparing financial conclusions and recommendations;
- at least 3 years of practical work experience in preparing financial forecasts, conducting economic evaluation of investment decisions and analysis of operational efficiency;
- ability to work with data analysis, visualization and business analytics tools (MS Excel - advanced user level, Power BI or other similar systems);
- English at least B2 level;
- excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian language, good written and oral communication skills;
- ability to prepare documents, analyze, systematize and summarize information;
- good communication and teamwork skills;
- ability to work independently, plan time and solve problems;
- responsibility, diplomacy, initiative.
