Nature of work

Organize effective accounting of the company, ensuring compliance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and the requirements of tax laws;
Lead the accounting team: organize and control the work of subordinate employees, develop their competencies, ensure smooth team work;
Create budgets, control cash flows;
Close accounting periods (monthly, quarterly, annual);
Prepare financial statements and financial statement packages (quarterly, annual and as needed), prepare financial reporting;
Prepare tax returns, ensure proper tax calculation;
Communicate with auditors, participate in audits;
Ensure smooth operation of accounting processes and systems and their development (ERP, reporting tools, etc.).
Initiate accounting digitization, automation and process optimization projects;

What do we expect

Higher education in accounting, finance or economics;
At least 3 years of experience as a chief accountant or deputy;
Good knowledge of the accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Lithuania;
Excellent computer skills, experience working with ERP and reporting systems;
Experience in supervising accounting digitization, automation, and process optimization projects;
Ability to collect, structure and analyze information;
Ability to work both in a team and independently;
Responsibility, independence, and result orientation.
