About the position:

Stafferty's client, one of the most well-known oriental restaurant chains in the Baltic States, is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join its team. He/She would be responsible for organizing the accounting of the entire company, controlling financial processes and preparing financial statements in a timely manner. We are looking for a responsible, analytically-minded specialist who is able to independently organize work and ensure smooth financial management.

Nature of work

  • Organization, implementation and control of all company accounting, ensuring compliance with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and their timely submission.
  • Formation, implementation and continuous improvement of the company's accounting policy.
  • Analysis of financial results, their assessment and provision of insights to the company's management.
  • Cash flow planning, control and ensuring the efficient use of the company's financial resources.
  • Ensuring the fulfillment of tax obligations and the timeliness of accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Higher education in finance, economics or accounting.
  • Successful accounting work experience and solid practical knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania regulating accounting and taxes.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to quickly master new information systems.
  • Analytical thinking, diligence, attention to detail and a responsible approach to work.
  • Initiative, independence, good planning, work organization and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Russian language.
  • Experience in the public catering sector and knowledge of the PRAGMA accounting program.
