A regulated company operating in the energy supply sector, employing approximately 70 employees, is inviting a senior accountant with at least 5 years of work experience to join the team.
Nature of work
- Organize and ensure the company's accounting in accordance with the requirements of the legal acts and accounting standards of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Prepare and submit financial, tax and statistical reports to state institutions.
- Ensure correct and timely accounting of purchases, sales, bank, cash and other economic operations.
- Control payroll accounting processes and the management of related documents.
- Calculate taxes, prepare and submit tax returns.
- Prepare financial analyses, reports and other information for the company's management.
- Ensure control of accounting processes, compliance with internal procedures and implementation of legal requirements.
- Cooperate with auditors, tax administrator, banks and other institutions.
- Participate in preparing the company's budget, financial forecasts and cash flow plans.
- Organize the management, storage and archiving of accounting documents.
- Provide advice to the company's management on accounting, tax and financial issues.
Employee requirements
- You have a higher education in finance, accounting or economics;
- You have at least 5 years of work experience as a chief accountant;
- An advantage – experience working with ERP systems (Bonus, Mokesta, Labbis or others);
- You have excellent knowledge of accounting, tax and labor law requirements;
- You are able to independently organize work and make decisions;
- You are responsible, meticulous, analytical and result-oriented;
- You know how to work with accounting programs and MS Excel;
- You are able to work with a larger flow of documents and information;
- You have good communication and collaboration skills;
- An advantage – work experience in an energy, utility or similar company.
