Senior Data Analyst

You will be responsible for:

  • analysis of supervised institutions' operational data, identification of risks and trends, and preparation of analytical reviews;
  • providing supervisory data and information to Lithuanian and foreign institutions;
  • development, application and improvement of risk assessment, institution selection and early response models;
  • development, testing and improvement of information systems for supervision, data analysis and risk assessment;
  • assessment and improvement of data quality, analysis and visualization processes;
  • counseling colleagues on the application of data analysis and risk assessment methods;
  • assessment and implementation of new data analytics, statistical modeling and technological solutions in supervision processes.

What we expect from you:

  • higher university education (at least a bachelor's degree) in economics, mathematics, statistics or another related field;
  • at least 3 years of similar work experience;
  • good knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union regulating the activities of supervised institutions;
  • good knowledge of the functioning of the payment market and its regulation, including the issuance of stablecoins (electronic money and asset-linked tokens);
  • very good skills in working with Power BI and R and excellent skills in working with basic MS Office programs;
  • ability to communicate fluently both orally and in writing in Lithuanian and English;
  • responsibility, independence, ability to work in a team, initiative, result orientation and desire to constantly improve.

We offer you:

  • salary depending on your competencies and experience. DU interval: 3496 - 5244 Eur (gross);
  • fixed-term employment contract until November 2028;
  • hybrid work model 3 + 2: 3 working days in the office and 2 working days remotely;
  • workplace in Vilnius, Žalgirio g. 90;
  • additional benefits package: health insurance, 6 additional days off per year and a budget for professional development.

  • upon employment, the position title in the employment contract will be Chief Specialist;

  • in accordance with the Procedure for Personal Financial Transactions of Bank of Lithuania Employees www.e-tar.lt/portal/lt/legalAct/19d3967084da11f1a2d8bd5283b9c6f3, the selected candidate will be asked to provide information on available financial instruments in order to assess their compliance with the restrictions applied to Bank of Lithuania employees and to ensure the prevention of potential conflicts of interest;
  • in accordance with the Law on the Coordination of Public and Private Interests www.e-tar.lt/portal/lt/legalAct/TAR.C0E550D6ADF0/asr, the selected candidate will be asked to submit a declaration of private interests of the applicant through the Register of Private Interests (PINREG), in order to assess potential conflicts of interest and ensure the coordination of public and private interests.
