Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Vilnius City Municipality is looking for a CISO who will create and develop the direction of cyber and information security across the entire municipal system and bring together information security officers of municipal institutions and companies into a unified, mature security ecosystem.

This is a position for someone who thinks systematically, is able to create policies, make decisions and coordinate their implementation in a complex public sector environment.

• Higher university education (in IT, information security, engineering or similar field);
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of information or cybersecurity, preferably in complex organizations;
• Good knowledge of international security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.);
• Ability to think systematically, not only technologically;
• Experience in developing policy and coordinating its implementation;
• Strong leadership and ability to work with different interest groups;
• Clear, precise written and oral communication;
• Analytical thinking, responsibility and ability to make decisions.

Advantages:
