AB "Achema" is currently inviting a Senior IT Engineer to join its team.

Your main responsibilities:

  • organize and coordinate the work of subordinate IT employees, distribute tasks, control their performance and consult employees;
  • ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure: computerized workstations, servers, computer network, e-mail, printing equipment and other systems;
  • administer user accounts, access rights, e-mail users and other IT system management tools;
  • take care of the cyber and information security of IT systems;
  • consult company employees on issues of using IT equipment, software and application systems;
  • participate in IT projects, audits, inspections and new solution implementation processes;
  • prepare and update IT documentation, procedures, rules, acts, certificates and purchase applications;
  • submit proposals for improving IT infrastructure, information security, software tools and work organization.

We hope you:

  • have a university or higher education in information technology, informatics, telecommunications, electronics or a similar field;
  • have experience in administering IT infrastructure: computer workstations, servers, networks, e-mail systems or other IT systems;
  • are familiar with the principles of computers, operating systems, servers, networks, databases and IT security;
  • are able to administer user accounts, access rights, IT equipment and software;
  • understand the principles of information and cyber security;
  • are able to analyze IT failures, solve technical problems and make proposals for improving systems;
  • are able to prepare and manage technical and administrative documentation;
  • are able to plan, organize work, coordinate team activities and systematize information;
  • are responsible, independent, diligent, able to maintain confidentiality and communicate smoothly with employees from different departments.

Advantages:

  • experience participating in IT projects, audits or infrastructure modernization processes;
  • certifications in IT security, network, server administration or similar fields;
  • knowledge of English necessary to read technical documentation.

The main activity of the company is the production and sale of nitrogen fertilizers, liquid fertilizers for indoor and outdoor plants, ammonia, nitric acid, formalin, KF resins, carbonic acid, oxygen, nitrogen, basic aluminum sulfate solution.
