Currently, the Investment Policy Division of the Investment Department is looking for a colleague and invites a Chief Specialist to join its team. Temporary Civil Servant

Main responsibilities and objectives:
- To organize and coordinate the preparation and coordination with the European Commission of documents on the use of EU cohesion policy funds of the Republic of Lithuania, as far as they relate to the education and culture sectors.
- To perform the functions of a coordinating institution in the implementation of other international financial support programs - the European Economic Area and Norwegian financial mechanisms, the Cooperation Program of the Republic of Lithuania and the Swiss Confederation.
- To analyze the proposals of the European Commission and EU Member States on the future of Cohesion Policy and assess their compatibility with Lithuania's development priorities.
- To coordinate the preparation, amendment, submission and coordination of the Plan "New Generation Lithuania" with the European Commission, as far as it relates to investments in the education sector.
- To carry out other non-permanent assignments related to the activities of the structural unit.
We hope you:
- You have a higher university education (bachelor's degree) in economics, politics, law or public administration (you can be a master's student) or you have at least 1 year of work experience in the field of EU structural assistance administration and/or in the field of administration and/or implementation of EU-funded projects.
- You speak English at B2 level or higher.
- Experience in the fields of EU funds administration or international cooperation is an advantage.
- You have strong analytical and large-scale information and project management skills.
- You are able to communicate smoothly and in an argumentative manner.
- You are responsible, organized, proactive and easily accept changes - you are able to respond appropriately to changed circumstances and tasks.
- You care about Lithuania and its future, you strive to create value for society.
Offered salary (gross): 2050 - 2650 eur./month. The specific salary is negotiated individually, taking into account the available work experience, competencies and compliance with other requirements of the position.
