Currently, the Investment Department, Management and Control Systems Supervision Division is looking for a colleague and invites a Chief Specialist (State Service) to join its team

Main responsibilities and objectives:

  • Ensuring compliance – to ensure that the functions assigned to the institutions related to the identification, investigation and decision-making of violations comply with European Union regulations and national legislation.
  • Implementation of prevention measures – to analyse the causes of identified violations, provide recommendations for process improvement, risk areas in order to avoid similar cases in the future.
  • Preparation of explanations – to provide explanations to the institutions based on the provisions of European Union regulations and national legislation, decisions and rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union and national courts, case law.

We hope you:

  • You have a higher university education in the field of law with a bachelor's degree or an equivalent higher education qualification.
  • You have at least 1 year of work experience in the fields of finance, economics, law, audit or control.
  • You speak English at B2 level or higher.
  • You have strong analytical and large-scale information management skills.
  • You are able to formulate positions in a timely and well-reasoned manner even in the face of uncertainty or limited information.
  • You are meticulous in analyzing documents, data and circumstances.
  • You are able to communicate smoothly, accurately and constructively with various stakeholders.
  • You care about Lithuania and its future, and you strive to create value for society.

Offered salary (gross): 2400-3000 EUR/month. The specific salary is negotiated individually, taking into account the work experience, competencies and compliance with other requirements of the position.
