Nature of work:
- administers study processes in cooperation with University departments and representatives of the VMU Academy of Education;
- prepares and administers documents related to the study process, calculation and work of lecturers' workload and scientific activities in the department;
- prepares class and exam schedules by assigning premises, makes reservations for one-time events;
- consults and provides information to members of the University, VMU Academy of Education community and external clients;
- prepares minutes of meetings of the Department of Modern Didactics of the VMU Academy of Education;
- contributes to the preparation of department reports;
- works with document management systems and other information subsystems of the University;
- carries out other tasks and assignments of the Chancellor of the VMU Academy of Education, Head of the Department of Modern Didactics within the limits of his/her competence.
Requirements:
- have a higher university education (not lower than a bachelor's degree);
- have a very good command of the state language and speak English at a level not lower than B1 in writing and orally;
- be able to independently analyze and solve work-related tasks, effectively plan and organize activities;
- be able to analyze and systematize information, summarize it and present conclusions;
- be able to work independently and in a team;
- know the basic principles of administrative language and business communication with third parties;
- be able to analyze the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the implementing legal acts of the laws, be familiar with the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania, the Statute of Vytautas Magnus University and other normative acts, the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the implementing legal acts of the laws and be able to apply them properly in practice;
- be able to work on a computer in the Windows operating system environment, including working with Microsoft Office office suite programs and using Internet browsers, search engines, as well as e-mail programs, but not limited to this.
