You will be responsible for:

  • coordinating the processes of licensing, issuing permits and entering financial market participants into public lists and assessing applications;
  • preparing and assessing drafts of the Bank of Lithuania and national legal acts and submitting proposals for their improvement;
  • consulting financial market participants and other interested parties, preparing legal conclusions and positions;
  • cooperation with Lithuanian and international institutions, providing information and participating in the activities of working groups.

What we expect from you:

  • you have a university degree in law;
  • you have at least 3 years of work experience in the field of finance, economics, audit or law;
  • you are familiar with Lithuanian and European Union legal acts regulating the activities of financial market participants;
  • you are excellent at working with basic MS Office programs;
  • you are able to communicate clearly and fluently both orally and in writing in Lithuanian and English;
  • you are responsible, proactive, able to work independently and in a team, strive for results and are constantly interested in innovations in your field.

We offer you:

  • salary depending on your competences and experience. DU range: 3496 - 4370 Eur (gross);
  • hybrid work model 3 + 2: 3 working days in the office and 2 working days remotely;
  • workplace in Vilnius, Žalgirio g. 90;
  • additional benefits package: health insurance, 6 additional days off per year and a budget for professional development.

  • in accordance with the Procedure for Personal Financial Transactions of Employees of the Bank of Lithuania www.e-tar.lt/portal/lt/legalAct/19d3967084da11f1a2d8bd5283b9c6f3, we will ask the selected candidate to provide information on available financial instruments in order to assess their compliance with the restrictions applied to employees of the Bank of Lithuania and to ensure the prevention of potential conflicts of interest;
  • in accordance with the Law on the Reconciliation of Public and Private Interests www.e-tar.lt/portal/lt/legalAct/TAR.C0E550D6ADF0/asr, the selected candidate will be asked to submit a declaration of private interests through the Register of Private Interests (PINREG) in order to assess possible conflicts of interest and ensure the reconciliation of public and private interests.
