RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are creating a new veterinary clinic in Kaunas and are looking for a chief veterinarian who would like to: create clinic standards and daily processes; carefully lead the team; be the person who is trusted not only by colleagues, but also by pet owners.

- Lead the team of veterinarians of the clinic, coordinate its work and daily activities.
- Track the clinic's performance indicators, analyze them, and submit reports to managers.
- Be responsible for the quality of the veterinary services provided and their compliance with the highest professional standards.
- Accept complex, critical or unclear diagnosis patients, consult colleagues in complex cases.
- Organize and control the course of surgical operations, diagnostic and treatment processes in the clinic.
- Prepare and supervise doctors' work schedules, duty schedules and workload distribution.
- Ensure that the clinic complies with veterinary regulations, hygiene and safety requirements.
- Participate in the selection of new doctors, their adaptation and the formation of a professional development plan.
- Maintain relations with suppliers, partners and other institutions (VMVT, etc.).
- Contribute to decisions on the development of the clinic's service portfolio and diagnostic equipment.
- If necessary, directly accept patients, perform examinations, diagnostics and treatment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher university veterinary education and a valid veterinary license.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the veterinary field, including at least 1-2 years of managerial experience.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, ability to make decisions under stress.
- Broad spectrum of veterinary medicine knowledge (internal diseases, surgery, diagnostics).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to clearly convey information to pet owners.
- Knowledge of Russian or English (an advantage).
- Responsibility, diligence, empathy and ability to work in a team.
