Nature of work

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial and accounting accounting of the company;
  • Act as a change leader(s) in implementing a new ERP system, initiating process automation and improving financial management solutions to make finances an effective business management tool;
  • Registration, control and accounting of primary accounting documents (suppliers and buyers);
  • Issuance, registration and control of sales invoices;
  • Execution of bank transactions: payments, bank account reconciliations, registration of settlements;
  • Preparation of debts, settlements and cash flow reports;
  • Accounting for inventory, warehousing and movement of goods and preparation of related reports;
  • Accounting for advance payments, fuel and business trips;
  • Calculation of wages and submission of related taxes and declarations;
  • Providing declarations and data to state institutions (VMI, Sodra, i.SAF, SABIS, Statistics Department, etc.);
  • Participating in the audit process and cooperating with auditors;
  • Performing other tasks assigned by the financier or manager;
  • Coordinating the work of the accountant(s).

Employee requirements

  • Knowledge of the standards of the Latvian financial and tax accounting laws;
  • Education in the field of finance;
  • High computer literacy (Microsoft 365 Office, MS Excel);
  • Experience working with the accounting system Rivilė;
  • Ability to independently plan work and meet deadlines;
  • Receptiveness to innovations, ability to quickly absorb information;
  • Requirement for quality of work and deadlines, logical thinking, ability to work in a team.
