We are currently looking for a new team member in the Distribution Law team. In this position, you would contribute with your expert competencies to the assessment of regulatory changes in energy law and other areas of law - you would advise on legal and regulatory issues in the energy sector, coordinate and participate in legislative processes, and implement regulatory changes in business projects. You will contribute to the creation of a green and safe energy ecosystem:
- By coordinating and participating in legislative processes and regulatory projects, ensuring the representation of the Group's interests at the level of Lithuanian and EU institutions, in courts and other dispute resolution institutions;
- By analyzing changes in national and European Union regulations, assessing their impact on the energy sector and business activities, and ensuring their legal implementation;
- Ensuring quality legal services and providing expert legal assistance on energy law and regulation and other issues, preparing non-standard legal documents, legal analyses, contracts, draft legal acts, procedural documents;
- Participating in working groups, initiating necessary process changes, planning, involving resources, leading and managing projects;
- Identifying and managing risks of any kind, developing risk or potential legal consequences management measures and ensuring their control and implementation;
- Communicating with regulatory authorities, management and other interested parties, representing the unit in courts and other dispute resolution institutions in its field of activity;
- Actively contributing to the efforts of managers to create and implement a positive organizational culture.
Important for this position:
- Higher legal education – Master of Laws or equivalent and higher degree;
- At least 7 years of legal work experience;
- Experience in the areas of legislative and regulated activities, including the preparation and assessment of draft legal acts and the implementation of regulatory changes;
- Unique professional knowledge of the energy sector and regulation, the ability to systematically assess changes in national and European Union regulation, their interaction and impact on business activities (would be an advantage);
- Ability to solve non-standard and unexplored problems and situations, forming fundamentally new legal concepts and directions of legal practice;
- Ability to quickly delve into business models and specifics of activities, the ability to identify significant legal and regulatory risks and assess the impact of legal and regulatory changes on business activities;
- Ability to independently orient both one's own and other legal and business colleagues' activities and legal processes in a constantly changing environment, ability to assemble and lead a team in project activities, taking responsibility for achieving results both individually and by leading a work or project team;
- Impeccable communication and collaboration skills, ability to convince both top-level managers and external business partners and policymakers, thus significantly influencing decision-making processes and final decisions;
- Excellent teamwork skills, ability to motivate team members, ability to create and implement a favorable work environment and a positive organizational culture;
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian and English (verbal and written).

The fixed salary range for the position group is from EUR 4,260 to EUR 6,380 (excluding taxes). The specific salary is offered taking into account work experience and competence. A variable remuneration component may be paid in addition to the salary.
