Nature of work
- Take over from an external company and independently manage the entire company's accounting;
- Create, systematize and optimize the accounting system;
- Calculation of wages and travel allowances;
- Submit declarations to the State Tax Inspectorate, "Sodra" and other state institutions;
- Control taxes and their declaration deadlines;
- Prepare financial statements and manage accounting for long-term and short-term assets;
- Prepare annual balance sheets, profit (loss) and equity statements;
- Manage accounting specific to transport companies (control of fuel, road taxes, vehicle costs);
- Supervise and manage settlements with customers and suppliers;
- Cooperate with the accounting department of the Danish company;
- Ensure that all accounting is orderly and completed on time;
- Consult managers and colleagues on accounting issues.
Expectations for the candidate
- You have a higher financial, accounting or economic education;
- You are well-versed in the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating accounting, taxes and corporate activities, and are constantly interested in accounting news;
- You have at least 2 years of work experience as a chief accountant in a transport or logistics company;
- You speak English and are able to communicate fluently in it on work issues;
- You have successful experience in taking over accounting from external service providers;
- You have experience in calculating wages and daily allowances for long-distance drivers.
