Organization of Career Center (CCC) activities in the following areas:
- Forms the directions, goals and strategic priorities of the Career Center (KC), plans the activities of the Center and is responsible for its results.
- Organizes and coordinates career planning, career counseling and other activities related to the careers of students and graduates, taking into account the needs of different target groups.
- Cooperates closely with the academic and non-academic departments of the University on career planning, student employability and labor market issues.
- Creates, develops and maintains strategic cooperation relations with employers, business, public sector and other organizations on career and student employability issues.
- Develops cooperation with Lithuanian and foreign higher education institutions, state institutions, social partners, companies, organizations and their networks or consortia.
- Initiates, develops and implements innovative solutions for career planning, counseling and student preparation for the labor market.
- Analyzes career, employment and labor market trends of students and graduates, evaluates the results of the services provided and provides recommendations for improving career services and the University's response to labor market needs.
- Initiates, prepares and implements university, local, national and international initiatives, events, projects and other activities related to career planning, career monitoring and student employability, organizes and coordinates mentoring and tutoring programs.
- Forms and coordinates consistent communication of the Center, strengthens the visibility of the Center in the University community and beyond, and takes care of the reputation of the Center.
- Leads the Center team: plans and organizes its work, distributes tasks, develops employee competencies, takes care of their motivation, involvement and appropriate working conditions.
- Represents the Center and, within its competence, the University in internal and external meetings, working groups, projects and partnerships.
Requirements:
- At least a university or professional bachelor's degree.
- Education in management (advantage)
- At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience (advantage).
- Work experience in the higher education sector (advantage)
- Experience in documentation management and processing.
- Fluent in Lithuanian, both spoken and written.
- Planning, managerial, organizational and communication skills, innovative decision-making and creativity skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- English language level not lower than C1.
