The main goal in this position:
to ensure smooth and fast data transfer from the design department to production. The main task is to process the received design files and prepare precise production programs for HOMAG CNC machines.
Daily Tasks:
- technical data processing – you will work with drawings, technical documentation and 3D models prepared by designers;
- documentation verification – you will analyze technical data, check their accuracy and import them into the production system;
- CNC programming – you will prepare and optimize drilling, milling and cutting programs in the woodWOP environment;
- production preparation – you will transfer prepared CNC programs to machine operators and ensure their smooth launch;
- technical error prevention – you will identify and correct data and program errors before starting production, and cooperate with designers in resolving technical issues.
We hope that:
- you are meticulous, responsible and focused on quality of work;
- you have practical experience with woodWOP version 7, 8 or 9 – this is a prerequisite;
- you know the operating principles of HOMAG machining centers, the functions of tool changers, vacuum tables and units;
- you are able to read and understand CAD/CAM files and technical documentation prepared by designers. Experience working with Woodwork for Inventor is an advantage;
- you know furniture production processes, the properties of wood materials and their processing technologies;
- you have analytical thinking, notice technical details and are able to work effectively in a production environment.
