NATURE OF WORK
- Formation and implementation of the procurement strategy for raw materials and production materials.
- Active search and selection of new suppliers in Lithuanian and foreign markets, development of long-term and sustainable relationships with existing suppliers.
- Continuous analysis of the market, price changes, supply opportunities.
- Creation of alternative supply sources and a base of reliable suppliers.
- Participation in negotiations with suppliers and partners to achieve the most favorable commercial conditions for the company.
- Coordination and preparation of contracts with suppliers and partners.
- Close cooperation with production, logistics, finance and other teams.
- Monitoring of raw material and production material inventory balances, ensuring optimal raw material quantities and effective management.
- Inventory control and participation in inventories to ensure data accuracy and optimal inventory management.
- Monitoring procurement results, improving procurement and supplier management processes.
WHAT IT NEEDS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of product categories, raw materials or strategic procurement.
- You have worked with supplier search, assessment, selection and long-term relationship development.
- You have experience in participating in commercial negotiations and are able to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- You understand pricing, price structure, key price-determining factors and market trends.
- You are proactive, independent, analytical and result-oriented.
- You are ready to actively attend meetings and visit suppliers in Lithuania and abroad.
- You are fluent in Lithuanian and English; additional languages would be an advantage.
- You have a driver's license.
- Experience in wood, furniture, panels or other related industries would be a great advantage.
