Expectations for your competencies and skills
- Higher education in finance, accounting or economics;
- At least 5 years of work experience as an accounting group manager or in a similar management position. working with large companies or groups of companies;
- Experience in organizing and coordinating the accounting of several companies or groups of companies.
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and tax law;
- Experience in cooperating with auditors;
- Knowledge or practical experience in consolidating groups of companies would be considered a great advantage;
- Strong communication, consulting and team management skills;
- Ability to simultaneously manage several clients, prioritize tasks and ensure high quality of services in a dynamic environment;
- Good knowledge of English, at least at the B1 level.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Lead a team of 4 accounting specialists: plan work, distribute tasks, monitor their implementation, ensure team efficiency and professional growth;
- Organize and coordinate the provision of accounting services to the assigned group of companies, ensuring service quality and meeting deadlines;
- Consult client managers on accounting, financial accounting and tax issues;
- Cooperate with client managers, financial managers and other responsible persons;
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and ensure the quality of financial information;
- Coordinate external audit processes, cooperate with auditors and ensure timely submission of information;
- Provide methodological assistance to team members on more complex accounting and tax issues;
- Identify process improvement opportunities, initiate and implement efficiency-increasing solutions;
- Ensure compliance with legal acts, accounting standards and internal procedures.
