Quality controller

UAB Statometa is looking for a Quality Controller who would be responsible for checking the quality of products in the production and painting processes.

Our activity is the production of metal fences, gates, railings, structures and other metal products. We are looking for someone who will help ensure that the products are manufactured, prepared and painted with high quality, according to the specified requirements and the client's order.

This is a position for someone who notices details, is not afraid to say that the work was done poorly, and understands that quality does not begin when the product is already packaged, but during the entire process.

Nature of work
Checking the quality of products during production.
Checking the quality of painting after painting work.
Control of product preparation for painting.
Monitoring the progress of the production and painting process.
Tracking the progress of work and recording discrepancies.
Checking whether the products are made according to the order, dimensions, configuration and quality requirements.
Checking whether selections, preparations, assemblies and other production work are carried out correctly.
Communication with production workers and paint shop workers.
Transferring information to responsible persons about observed shortcomings or defects.
Assistance in ensuring that defective or improperly prepared products do not reach the customer.
Supervision of compliance with order and quality standards in production.

Requirements for the employee
Responsibility and attention to detail.
Ability to notice production, preparation or painting errors.
Ability to communicate clearly with production and paint shop employees.
Understanding that quality must be checked throughout the process, not just at the end.
Ability to follow the established procedure and demand it from others.
Technical thinking or willingness to learn about the production of metal products.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the result.
Computer literacy would be an advantage.
Experience in production, metal products, painting processes or quality control would be a great advantage.
