Nature of work
The Danish capital window manufacturing company DOVISTA, located in Marijampolė, is looking for a shift foreman to join the team.
Working in this position, you will be:
- responsible for your team, the organization and coordination of its work;
- ensure the implementation of the production plan, work efficiency and order in the workplace;
- form a culture of a safe work environment and ensure compliance with employee safety and health requirements;
- responsible for the quality of the manufactured products and compliance with technological requirements;
- solve daily production challenges and promptly respond to non-standard situations;
- fill in production documentation, prepare reports and perform administrative tasks related to shift activities;
- develop the team, provide feedback and contribute to employee engagement.
For this position it is important to:
- Good knowledge and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements;
- Ability to organize and coordinate team work, ensuring the effective implementation of common goals;
- Responsibility and attentiveness;
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems;
- Courage to act in non-standard situations;
- Knowledge of basic Lean tools and methods and experience in their application.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to communicate in English.
